Let’s Talk About It: Substance Use in College Module Part 6

You’ve made it to the end of this module. Whether you read every word or just skimmed the highlights, we hope you found something helpful to carry with you into your college experience.

Talking about substance use, peer pressure, mental health, and harm reduction isn’t always easy. But being informed helps you stay safe, support others, and make choices that reflect who you are and what you want.

Let’s Reflect

Here are a few questions to ask yourself:

  • How do I want to show up in social settings that include alcohol or drugs?
  • What are my boundaries—and how will I communicate them?
  • Who can I talk to if I need help or feel overwhelmed?
  • What can I do to support a friend who’s struggling?

Your answers might change over time, and that’s okay. College is about learning—not just in class, but about yourself and the world around you.

Take the Quiz

These two short quizzes aren’t graded. It’s just for you to check your understanding and see what you’re taking away from the module. Think about your answers. If there are things you’re unsure of, you can always go back through the module or explore the external resources linked throughout.

You’re Not Alone

College comes with challenges – but it also comes with support. You don’t have to know everything or do everything perfectly. You’re allowed to ask questions, make adjustments, and find your own path.

If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed, remember there are people who want to help you stay safe, healthy, and supported.
