Unzip the Potential – Global

This program provides low-opportunity K-12 Students with a resource-filled backpack containing a tailored school supply kit to provide equitable classroom experiences. Classrooms are of limited capacity, and learning resources are insufficient. Thus, many children miss out on the opportunity to study, resulting in higher dropout rates.

The Problem

Classrooms in many developing areas globally are of limited capacity, and learning resources are insufficient for the needs of students. Leading to many children falling behind in their studies and increasing dropout rates. Additionally, many have not achieved gender equity in primary education, resulting in many girls not having an option to get an education.

Our Solution

When children fall behind in learning, it is often a result of the lack of resources and programming, not a lack of capability. That’s where our Unzip the Potential program comes in. To increase equitable access to education for students across the globe, we work with our global partners to provide students with culturally appropriate resources to help them thrive in the classroom.

Through our Unzip the Potential project, we aim to increase access to education through three primary methods:

What's in our Resource Kits?

The resources that are needed in one country, may not be the same that are need in another. That's why we work closely with our partners to make sure our resource kits are full of items are are ACTUALLY needed!

Since 2018,

our Global Resource Hub has empowered over 16,000 students across the globe by providing them with the critical resources they need to succeed in the classroom.
