Physical activity can help reduce stress for students. Physical activity/exercise can be free, try walking or biking to class, stretching daily and taking the stairs.

What type of physical activity do you like to do? Make a list of it and then build it into your school day. Remember energy creates energy!

Track your physical activity habits with a smart phone application such as the Habit Tracker. Exercising with others can help create accountability. Ask a friend to go to your college fitness center with you or try out a fitness class together.

Physical activity/exercise can help create a space to connect with others and talk about mental health.It’s important to remember that movement and mental health go hand and hand.
