Today, we had the privilege of meeting with Head Teachers from our partner schools, Lengijave, Ilkurot, Lemanyata, Olkokola, Olbak, and Engorika, as well as the Ward Education Officers from Lemanyata and Lengijave.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the impact of Thrive Global Project’s programs and to hear directly from education leaders about the positive changes taking place in their communities.

Madam Eliasaria expressed her gratitude, saying:

“We are very grateful for the support we receive from Thrive Global Project. Through the School Lunch Project, our students are able to remain in school and focus on their studies. We can proudly say that we have achieved zero student dropouts. The support provided to the women cooks through the VICOBA program is also a significant investment that will improve their financial well-being and empower their families.”

Mr. Rashid added:

“Gathering here together gives us an opportunity to sincerely thank you for caring about our students and investing in their future.”

Mr. Salvatory, the Ward Education Officer, shared:

“It is a privilege to have your support in these schools. We pray that you never grow tired of supporting these young children. Many other schools are requesting this lunch program, and we encourage you to consider expanding it. We are committed to providing our full support.”

On behalf of the Government of Tanzania, Mr. Antony also conveyed his appreciation:

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to every member of the Thrive Global Project team. Please send our warm greetings and appreciation to the team in the United States for their continued commitment to our children and communities.”

As a gesture of appreciation, the school leaders and local education officials presented Thrive Global Project with a Certificate of Recognition, honoring the organization’s dedication and contribution to improving education, student retention, and community development.

We are deeply honored by this recognition and remain committed to working alongside schools, communities, and local government leaders to create brighter futures for children across Tanzania.
