Camino de Santiago

Camino de Santiago

Give to Learn to Grow Foundation & Thrive Global Project are teaming up again to support LA Wildfire Victims & Nomadic Communities in East Africa.

WALKING FOR HOPE

Our hearts are with all our fellow Angelenos who have been affected by the devastating wildfires that have ravaged our community. This unimaginable climate crisis has touched every corner of our region—impacting neighbors, families, and friends, and displacing thousands of people.

The wildfires in LA County have caused widespread destruction, leaving entire communities in ruins. Homes, schools, churches, businesses, and livelihoods have been lost, and many families now face the difficult journey of rebuilding. Yet, in the face of devastation, our community stands strong and resilient.

At the same time, across the world, nomadic communities in East Africa are facing their own hardships. With ongoing droughts and instability, they are struggling to access the resources they need to rebuild their lives. Roads are essential lifelines, yet many villages remain disconnected, making it harder to access food, water, healthcare, and education.

Why We Walk

From June 20-27, 2025, we are embarking on the Camino de Santiago—a historic and spiritual journey—walking in solidarity with those who have lost everything. Our walk symbolizes resilience, strength, and the power of community. We are walking for two causes:

Los Angeles Wildfire Victims – To provide emergency relief, housing assistance, and support for families as they rebuild.

Nomadic Communities in East Africa – To help fund road-building initiatives that will connect remote villages, making it easier for families to access essential services.

How You Can Help

Every step we take is a step toward rebuilding lives—both here in LA and across the world.

Your donation will go directly toward recovery efforts, offering hope and tangible support to those in need.
